All About Anna…..

Posted by on Nov 13, 2008

good evening. i had to post this.  the excerpt below is from my friend Kelly’s blog.  for those of you that don’t know Kelly (Kells), Kelly is every bit of 9 months “preggers”….every bit of…  It seems that Kells just doesn’t understand that now that Anna Ryleigh (the baby) is just about here, it’s really all about the baby.  we support you, we love you, but uhhhh it’s a baby thing :)

“Okay so December 9th is fast approaching and we are getting more nervous and anxious with each passing day. Below is just a montage of what we’ve been going through.

I’m now at the point to where I have to see the doctor once a week. People in the office are taking bets on how much the baby is going to weigh and guessing when I’ll actually have it. Oh, and something else I didn’t know – when you get close to going into labor your nose gets wider!! One of my co-workers/friends explained this to me earlier this week. (learn something new everyday) We went out and bought a pink infant car seat this past weekend (hope the sonogram technician was right). Although I think if she was wrong that “my boy” could totally pull off the pink. :-) Sleep is a thing of the past nowadays. I’m like a beached whale trying to turn from side to side just to get that 10 minutes of comfortableness. And of course this keeps Andy awake and sometimes I misjudge just how close I am to him and hit him with my “big belly” and wake him up. Kim has determined a safe date for our “last official lunch date”. :-) I can no longer reach out in front of me to turn the water on/off in the sink. Gotta turn to the side and reach. I can load the washer but not unload it. Can’t reach the clothes in the bottom of the washer. This has now become Andy’s job as well as loading/unloading the dishwasher and basically anything that involves bending over because I not only can’t see my feet I can’t even come close to bending over touching them. I have been instructed by my mom to not leave town. I’m hearing stories about how “mine came two weeks early or two weeks late”. Everyone has stories and experiences to share and I’m soaking them all up. My 16 year old niece Shelby is complaining because her mom has already bought Ryleigh 4 Christmas presents and she doesn’t have any yet. Trey, my nephew, says that after I have Ryleigh my stomach is going to deflate like his balloon did the other day. (we can only hope!!) Anna Ryleigh is still tucked away cozy and safe in my tummy but just look what an impact she has already had on the world!!”
