Out of the heart flows the issues of life. (Proverbs 4:23). A woman’s character can only be revealed by her actions – good or bad. For the good, all around her are blessed. For the bad, God’s grace is sufficient, and she is forgiven…She strives to walk upright with integrity, but often falls. Yes, she is a Christian. Yes, she tries to ‘walk the walk’ and ‘talk the talk,’ but she doesn’t always do it successfully. Because of her intergrity, hard work and dilegence comes naturally. She is free by design.

I hope you will read this blog and take if for what it is: random, unfiltered thoughts of a flawed human. Yes, I am a Christian. Yes, I try to ‘walk the walk’ and ‘talk the talk,’ but I don’t always do it successfully. This is not an advice column; it is strictly me speaking to “me” but with you having the ability to read what I’m saying. All posts on this blog, in one way or another, are symbolic of happenings in my life or a result of lessons learned throughout every living moment of my life. They are little reminders of what I’ve overcome, what life has taught me, and where God is leading me.

2 Corinthians 4:8-9 (2C489) is my life’s scripture in this season.  I believe it, I live it, I breathe it, and am empowered and motivated by it.

“We are hedged in (pressed) on every side [troubled and oppressed in every way], but not cramped or crushed; we suffer embarrassments and are perplexed and unable to find a way out, but not driven to despair; We are pursued (persecuted and hard driven), but not deserted [to stand alone]; we are struck down to the ground, but never struck out and destroyed;”…Paul
