Good evening. As promised, I said I would post about my trip to Atlanta this past weekend. Rather than bore you with a play by play recap, I’ll just leave you with this. It feels pretty good to spend time with true and genuine people. People that love you unconditionally. It feels pretty good to walk into a place for the first time and know that undoubtedly in God’s timing and season, you are supposed to be in AND a part OF that place. It feels pretty good to witness God’s confirmation about so many areas in your life as if He were standing right next to you guiding you along your path. So sweet.

Bridgett and Kathy, as always, the time spent was special. The Church at Chapel Hill, the time spent was both life changing and amazing. To all 3, the love and fellowship was (is) simply awesome!! For all things, I am grateful.

Good morning. Seriously be thankful for the people in your life that have been the same since day one – good or bad. Love on them and keep them close. Regardless of whatever situation life threw at your relationship, your relationship stood. Distance, disagreements, or mutual annoyance were and are minor when up against the bond. Kathy & Rox, you keep me going. You keep me loving and you love me, and when we do all of this, we keep growing.

1(one) Love

Good evening. Wanting someone in your life that you know ultimately doesn’t want to be there hurts. But the fact of the matter is that there’s nothing you can do about it. Some people shy away from meaningful relationships because of fear. Some shy away because they aren’t emotionally able to maintain healthy relationships, and some just simply don’t have the wherewithal or capacity to love anyone but themselves.

Regardless of the reason, what they fail to realize is that it is indeed fellowship and time with others that make them better. It’s the simple feeling of knowing that someone cares about you and wants to be around you that makes you to want to give a bit more of yourself.

Now, I’m not saying go out and befriend the world. I’m talking about being emotionally available to those people that you know in your heart and without any doubt contribute to who you are as a person and are indeed a part of your destiny.

With all that being said, if you are reading this blog, I challenge you to:

� Never give up on people even when they want you to

� Give of yourself as much, if not greater than what you, yourself want to receive

� Love in such a way that it is felt rather than implied

� Be patient with those that aren’t so easy to be patient with

� Be understanding and know that ‘being free’ and ‘being loved’ doesn’t come easy for everyone

� Be real and tell it like it is…but with compassion

� Be trusting and trustworthy

� Be unpredictable and spontaneous, but original and genuine

� Be strong and never give up on love, life, or relationship

I think this is enough to get us started. Besides, the rest of what we must do can’t be written; it must be lived.

Find Where I Am

Good evening. Life's situations sometimes causes us to lose focus on who we are, and in the middle of all things… lose focus on where we are. If where you are is not in a place of happiness, change your location. Any situation that draws out your bad and confines your good, is not worthy of you. A healthy life includes happiness in all aspects and shouldn't be negotiated for less. Encompass yourself with genuine love, good friends, and a lot of grace, and you'll find the happiness that leads you back to you!

E, thanx for the inspiration today; the fellowship was outstanding! You truly are "the" rock star in my life…I heard Rae thinks so too!
